GradeCheck provides educators with a snapshot of student performance via individual academic profiles. Once grades are uploaded, the system will monitor and identify those students who may be in need of additional support. Our academic coaches provide educators with additional support in guiding students toward their short- and long-term goals and don't "fall through the cracks".
GradeCheck can provide educators with benchmarking data to track district progress and quickly identify trends across students and intra-district schools.
GradeCheck enables parents and educators to share the same view of a student’s academic record and profile. This ensures that the student’s support system are 'on the same page'. With information and guidance from GradeCheck academic coaches, parents can be proactive in helping their child to succeed in school.
In "Crossing the Finish Line", William Bowen and Michael McPherson identify the biggest factors impacting student success rates as "inertia, lack of information, lack of forward planning for college and lack of encouragement". GradeCheck provides the individual student and his academic support team, (parents, teachers, athletic coaches, and guidance counselors) with the tools to enable them to do their best during their K-12 years and plan for their future whether it be in college, trade school or directly into the workplace. Our approach includes scholarship information, goal setting and specific details within their academic profile on actions they should take to improve their GPA, grades and test scores.
